The Borghese Gallery is an important museum in Rome located inside the amazing Villa Borghese. This charming estate was owned by the Borghese family. Progressively numerous other plots were added to the building until the construction of an incredibly huge park!
Today the Borghese Gallery is an art gallery that houses a substantial part of the Borghese family artworks collection started by the Cardinal Scipione Borghese in the 1600.
Among the beautiful works we can admire today inside the museum there are: the Pauline Bonaparte sculpture by Antonio Canova, the Apollo and Dafne sculpture by Lorenzo Bernini, amazing paintings by Caravaggio and Tiziano and by other amazing artists from the Renaissance.

Walking through twenty rooms across two floors, you’ll discover terrific artworks, statues, ancient mosaics, decorations and paintings, while learning the story of the Villa and experience how the Roman aristocrats lived like. Remember to look up as well since every ceiling in the gallery is breathtaking!

We could not think of a better way to conclude our tour than walking through the fabulous Borghese gardens, admiring nature and artworks melt together by the pleasure of our eyes! During this nice stroll we’ll see statues, fountains, the zoological gardens, a small lake and a temple!
